š§ š AI in Cybersecurity ā Enhancing Protection or Creating New Attack Surfaces?
Artificial Intelligence is becoming a cornerstone in modern cybersecurity ā from threat detection and behavioral analytics to automated response systems.
ā Benefits?
AI can spot anomalies in real-time, sift through massive datasets faster than any human, and proactively identify potential threats before they escalate. It helps SOC teams be smarter, faster, and more precise.
ā ļø But here's the catch:
As defenders use AI, so do attackers.
We're now seeing AI being used to create deepfakes, automate phishing, bypass CAPTCHA, and exploit vulnerabilities at scale. In some cases, the same AI tools meant to protect us are being used against us.
So the big question is: Is AI in cybersecurity a shield⦠or a double-edged sword?
š What do you think? Are we ultimately more secure with AI in the loop, or are we introducing more complex risks we donāt fully understand?
Letās discuss.
